Gunmen suspected to be Fulani militia have slaughtered 17 villagers in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The unfortunate attack this medium gathered, took place in Heipang community in the wee hours of Thursday.

Mr Julius Pam, a grieving member of the community confirmed the attack on Thursday.

He said, “Good morning sir. On a sad news, there was an attack early this morning in Heipang community. A total of 17 people were killed including my brother, his wife and children, all killed.”

Meanwhile, police command in Plateau State is yet to issue a statement in respect to the unfortunate incident.
