A senior member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nafiu Bala, has reportedly spoken out in fear, saying he now regrets his role in the party’s ongoing crisis and believes his life is in danger.

According to a report by ADC Vanguard, Bala admitted he never expected the internal disagreements within the party to grow into such a serious and tense situation. What started as political differences has now turned into a full-blown conflict that many say is getting out of hand.

“I regret my role in the ADC crises. I did not know it would reach this level. My life is in danger,” Bala was quoted as saying.

The ADC has been facing deep divisions for some time, with factions battling for control and direction. The situation recently reached a major turning point after a ruling by the Supreme Court of Nigeria on Thursday.

The court removed an earlier order that had blocked the leadership led by David Mark, a decision that was expected to calm tensions. However, instead of bringing peace, uncertainty still hangs over the party, and concerns about its future remain strong.

Despite the alarming statement credited to him, Bala has not personally come forward to confirm or deny the comments publicly. This has added another layer of confusion to an already unstable situation within the party.

As the crisis continues, questions are growing about safety, leadership, and whether the ADC can recover from its internal struggles.
