An escapee of the Imo State correctional centre is said to be currently on the lose as he goes berserk killing indigenes of Mmahu community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. 

President General of the community simply known as Romano who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said already 8 natives of the community have been killed by the blood thirsty hoodlum. 

His mode of operation according to the community head is springing out from the bush and killing anybody in sight. 

“He simply jumps out from the Bush and attacks his victims, he is deadly, he shoots at them at any given chance,” Romano said. 

He said the community is still pondering why Romano embark on such a mission. However, said the community has invited the police to unravel the situation. 

The youth President said that before now, Romano has killed 3 persons and escaped into the bush before he can be caught up with. 

Meanwhile,the Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Michael Abatham said that the command is aware of the incident, assuring that investigation has commenced bringing all those involved to book.
