The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, is currently in a crucial meeting with members of the Commission and members of the Imo State Chapter of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES).

According to Naija News understands that the meeting is being held at the media center of the state’s head office in Owerri, Imo State capital.

The commission revealed via its official social media page on X that Yakubu, will at the meeting, discuss the security of voters on election day, smooth logistics for personnel and materials, and ensuring a transparent and credible #ImoDecides2023 election come November 11, 2023.

On November 11, Imo, Kogi, and Bayelsa State will be holding their off-cycle governorship election next Saturday.
