The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has paid a courtesy visit to the National Assembly.

In a post via his official X handle on Thursday, Keyamo said he visited the Chairmen of the Senate and House Committees on Aviation, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai and Hon. Peter Akpatason.

The minister said he had very fruitful discussions with the lawmakers on issues bothering the progress of the Aviation sector.

Meanwhile, the minister visited Caverton Helicopters in Lagos State.

In a post via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle last Sunday, Keyamo said he visited the company where he inspected the company’s state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.

Keyamo revealed that one of his objectives of the ministry is to support and encourage local operators. The minister also said he took a crash course in piloting a helicopter with the company’s very modern helicopter simulator.
