Political thugs Sunday afternoon, launched vacious attack on Igbo people in Abuleado, festac extension of Lagos State with guns and other dangerous weapons, injuring over six people.

Our correspondent gathered that the criminal elements in their large numbers stormed Abuleado community after church service and started attacking innocent Igbo citizens.

In a video exclusively obtained by News Band, over six people who sustained gun shots injuries were seen taken to the hospital in a Toyota Highlander vehicle after the unfortunate incident.

Also, a resident of the community who spoke with News Band under the condition of anonymity said that the unprovoked attack started yesterday (Saturday) during the governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

Meanwhile at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the spokesman of Lagos State police command was abortive as his mobile lines were not going through.
