Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has bemoaned the nature of President Bola Tinubu’s appointments.

Dokubo lamented that Tinubu’s appointments were lopsided and dangerous to the well-being of Nigeria.

In a viral video, Asari condemned controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, over his attack on Nyesom Wike’s appointment as Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister.

While saying that FCT belongs to all Nigerians, Dokubo wondered why Gumi would think that the nation’s capital belong to only Muslims.

On Tinubu’s appointments which he said favoured a particular section of the country, Dokubo expressed concerns over the development.

He said, “Nigerians voted for the Muslim-Muslim ticket because they know who Tinubu is, I did not vote for Tinubu because he’s a Muslim but because I know what he’s capable of doing, even though today his appointments are one-sided.

“We must speak out; this is not Lagos. The president must know that the path he’s following in making appointments as if Nigeria is for Lagos is dangerous. We know he already has a lot of problems but we must point this thing out.

“Mr President should look back at the appointments and balance it, this country belongs to all of us.”
