Valentine Obienyem, media aide to the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi says, his principal never issued any form of reply to the outburst of Reverend Ejike Mbaka, the director of adoration ministry, Enugu State.
Although, it was widely reported by some section of the media that Mr Peter Obi replied the controversial priest after he called the former Fidelity Bank director a stingy man who will never become Nigeria’s president.
However, Valentine Obienyem in a statement which a copy was made available to Newsband dismissed the viral statement, adding that Peter has no plans of replying the unwarranted tantrums of the the controversial priest.
Part of the statement reads, “Our attention have been drawn to a statement credited to Mr. Peter Obi as his reply to Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
“We wish to state for the record that Mr. Peter Obi did not and is not planning to issue any reply.
“We advise that any medium trying to publish such an unsigned letter should clarify its authenticity from Mr. Obi’s Media Office.”
