Alex Otti, the Governor of Abia State, has expressed his views on leadership at the inauguration of the Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo 10.98km road in Eleme Local Government Rivers State.

He believes that leadership should be a service to the people, not just a select few. He asserts that when leadership strays from this principle, it is a sign that something is amiss.

Otti emphasizes that leadership should prioritize the majority over a small group of individuals. If this balance is skewed, it’s time for a self-assessment. His focus is on good governance, which he believes is synonymous with serving the people.

He commends Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his preparedness and dedication. According to Otti, no distraction is significant enough to divert Sim’s attention from the welfare and interests of the people.

He concludes by stating that power is a divine gift. No individual can claim the ability to bestow power unless they also possess the ability to give life.
