David Hundeyin, a prominent Nigerian investigative journalist, has made serious allegations regarding Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

According to Hundeyin, Qatari Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is aware about Tinubu’s involvement in drug trafficking and money laundering activities. Hundeyin reiterated these claims in a social media post on March 3, 2024.

Interestingly, Hundeyin himself was nominated for the Investigative Journalism category of the 2022 Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, which was funded by Sheikh Al Thani. This nomination underscores the importance of Hundeyin’s work in exposing Tinubu’s alleged illicit activities.

The Nigerian president has announced multiple agreements with Qatar’s Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani , including cooperative agreements spanning education, employment, business growth, investment attraction, youth development, mining, tourism, and sports, but no official confirmation can be found on Qatar’s government website. However, Hundeyin’s revelations cast a shadow over the official narrative.
