In the ongoing political turmoil in Rivers State, an All-Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, asserts that Governor Siminalayi Fubara did not endorse President Bola Tinubu’s perceived undemocratic pact.

NN News Media had reported on contrary to earlier claims of a signed pact brokered by President Bola Tinubu, but Eze asserts that Fubara’s use of a black pen instead of the expected red one renders the agreement unimplementable.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Eze pointed out discrepancies in the document, alleging uniform handwriting and pre-preparation before the meeting took place.

He emphasized that all signatures, including Wike and Ribadu’s, were seemingly affixed before the official signing. Eze further cautioned Governor Fubara to seek advice before taking any consequential steps.

Expressing strong disapproval of the peace agreement’s terms, Eze criticized it as unconstitutional, illegal, undemocratic, and an attempt to limit governance in Rivers State.

He argued that the eight-point agreement failed to address the core issues that sparked the political crisis, and he accused President Tinubu of overstepping judicial powers in attempting to enforce certain provisions.
