Bello Galadanchi, popularly known as Dan Bello, a talented skitmaker, has taken a bold step in improving education by renovating a dilapidated classroom in northern Nigeria.

The project, which cost N4.1 million, contrasts starkly with the inaction of some Nigerian politicians who handle billions but fail to invest in educational infrastructure for their communities.

In a video monitored by NN News Media, Dan Bello, speaking in Hausa, announced, “We are renovating a government classroom for free.” He highlighted the widespread issue of dilapidated classrooms in northern Nigeria, particularly in government primary schools.

Dan Bello continued, explaining, “We decided to renovate this classroom so that the children of everyday Nigerians can study in a safe and decent environment, just like we did when we were kids. That’s why we spent N4.1 million to fix it.”

He further emphasized the dire state of over 50,000 government primary schools in northern Nigeria, where children are forced to learn in hazardous conditions, including classrooms with leaking roofs. According to him, these conditions put children at risk of illnesses such as pneumonia, fever, and fungal infections.

Dan Bello’s efforts have sparked discussions on the responsibilities of government officials in addressing the country’s educational challenges.
