Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has dismissed the existence of the Rainbow Coalition in the state, declaring that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the 2027 elections at all levels, including the presidential race for President Bola Tinubu.

Uzodinma made the declaration on Tuesday during the distribution of campaign vehicles under the PBAT Door to Door Movement in Imo State.

The governor described the APC as the only political party recognised in the state and urged supporters to work for the party and vote for its candidates across all elective positions in the 2027 general elections.

He called on party supporters to vote for APC candidates for the State House of Assembly, governor, House of Representatives, Senate and presidency, insisting that the party was the only political platform they could trust.

Uzodinma expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in Imo State, saying the votes the party would receive would be organic and driven by the performance of President Tinubu.

According to the governor, the expected votes would reflect the decisions of voters who had assessed the president’s performance and willingly chosen to support him and the APC.

He also charged those who received the campaign vehicles to use them strictly for APC campaign activities, stressing that they had been empowered to mobilise support for Tinubu and the ruling party ahead of the 2027 elections.

The governor said the campaign vehicle distribution was part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and take the party’s message directly to voters across the state.

Reaffirming his position on the political situation in Imo, Uzodinma insisted that there was no Rainbow Coalition in the state and urged supporters to remain committed to the APC’s electoral goals.

He maintained that the party was prepared to secure victory in the state and deliver votes for Tinubu in the next presidential election.
