Prominent Nigerian pastor and former president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Ayo Oritsejafor has sharply criticized the President Bola Tinubu administration for the severe hardship and suffering it has brought upon millions of citizens.
In a powerful interview on ARISE NEWS State of the Nation program he declared that there is no hope left for any Nigerian who cannot afford even one proper meal a day.
Oritsejafor warned that the current administration cannot keep giving people empty talk about better days ahead when daily reality offers nothing to hold on to. He stressed that real hope cannot survive on hollow pledges or endless government borrowing that shows no positive impact on ordinary lives. Hope he insisted must be built on tangible results that ordinary Nigerians can see and feel.
The respected cleric spoke from an ornate chair in a remote link from Warri while the studio anchor followed from Lagos. The segment included B roll footage of chaotic traffic and crowded streets. On screen graphics clearly identified him as the former Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria president during the nearly five-minute discussion.
His strong remarks come as many Nigerians continue to face skyrocketing food prices fuel costs and basic living expenses under the Tinubu government which many blame for triggering the current wave of economic pain and national debt.
Oritsejafor highlighted the wide gap between political leaders and the daily survival battles of average families who now focus more on feeding their homes than on any political promises.
The outspoken comments by the influential faith leader have ignited fresh debates across the country with many people calling for immediate practical action to ease the suffering caused by the Tinubu administration.
