Sheikh Dokoro criticizes President Bola Tinubu’s performance, stating that he has “failed woefully” and advising that no imam should encourage votes for him in 2027.
According to him in a viral video, in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful…Brothers and sisters, this is the month of Ramadan a time for truth, not for hiding realities or flattering people. Bola Tinubu has failed woefully! He has failed completely in leading this country.
The hardship is too much. The suffering of the people is unbearable. Prices of food and everything have gone beyond reach. Insecurity is everywhere. The economy has collapsed under his watch.
If you are a true leader of the Muslims an Imam or a Sheikh, you should not deceive the people. Do not encourage or pray for Bola Tinubu to win again in 2027.
Tell him the truth! Tell the President the reality of what Nigerians are going through. He is not an angel. He is a human being like us. If you cannot tell him the truth, then bring him to me I will tell him myself!
During this blessed month of fasting, we should use it to speak the truth, not to cover up failures.
Some people are afraid to speak because of positions or money, but fear Allah alone. The suffering in the North and across Nigeria is too much. People cannot eat, cannot afford basic things, and the government is not addressing it properly.
Allah should forbid Bola Tinubu from winning the 2027 election through the blessings of this month of Azumi (Ramadan). May Allah not allow him to continue if he cannot fix these problems. To the religious leaders: Stop misleading the ummah. Stop telling people to support failure. If you see wrong, say it is wrong. That is your duty. We are not asking for violence. We are asking for truth and accountability. The people are in pain. The leaders must hear it.
May Allah ease the suffering of Muslims in Nigeria and everywhere. May He guide our leaders or replace them with better ones. Ameen. Wallahi, this is the truth I have to say…”
The Sheikh repeats and emphasizes several points with strong emotion, using Islamic references to truth-telling, the responsibility of scholars, and warnings against hypocrisy or silence for worldly gains. He gestures a lot and raises his voice at key moments about “failure” and “2027”.
