President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited Enugu State on Saturday for his first official trip as Nigerian president.

Accompanied by notable dignitaries, including Abia State Governor Alex Otti, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, and Minister of Works Dave Umahi, President Tinubu arrived at Akanu Ibiam International Airport in the afternoon.

During his visit, President Tinubu commissioned several significant projects executed by Governor Peter Mbah.

These projects include smart green schools, rural roads, 150 patrol vehicles with AI-embedded surveillance cameras, and Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, part of the 260 under construction across the state’s wards.

Additionally, the president inaugurated the completed Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 urban roads in Enugu City, and the state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre.
