Armed men suspected to be members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), who are enforcing sit-at-home order, has stormed Orie Awgu in Awgu Egbe l’eli, in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, destroying goods in a local market and chasing innocent traders away.

In a short video clip which was exclusively obtained by NewsBand, the members of the separatist movement who were cladded on black attire were seen on dozens of motorcycles, shooting sporadically and moving from one spot to another in what appears to be a show of force.

Some of the community residents were also captured on the video cheering the gunmen as they carry out their sinister mission.

Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu whose trial started today has pleaded not guilty to the latest amended 15-count charge of treasonable felony slammed against him by the Department of State Services (DSS)

He took his plea in the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja presided over by Justice Binta Nyako. When the charges were read to him on Wednesday during the trial, the IPOB leader pleaded not guilty

However, Nnamdi Kanu today also defeated Federal Government in a fundamental rights suit he filed against the Federal Government in the Abia State High Court sitting in Umuahia, the state capital.

In the judgement, the Umuahia High Court ruled that the invasion of the country home of Nnamdi Kanu was illegal and awarded N1 billiion damages to him.
