At least 15 individuals have been forcefully taken following a raid on an Islamic school nestled in the Gidan Bakuso enclave within Gada Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

The breach, unfolding in the early hours of Saturday, saw unidentified assailants breach the premises of Tsangava school, as disclosed by its proprietor, Liman Abubakar.

Abubakar, addressing the media on Saturday, expressed grim signs of casualties, with one individual reportedly shot and another abducted from the community.

This alarming event follows closely on the heels of the recent abduction of more than 480 individuals from Borno and Kaduna States earlier in the week.

In response, the Federal Government, extending sympathies to affected families, has instructed security chiefs to launch thorough investigations and ensure the safe rescue of all abducted victims.
