A University of Port Harcourt lecturer has been caught on camera sexually harassing a female student in his office.

The video, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the lecturer making inappropriate advances towards the student while in his office.

The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for the lecturer to be held accountable for his actions. “The horny imbecile might even have a daughter her mate in the house o. Hopefully, he doesn’t go unpunished for this,” wrote Cross˚ on X

This is not the first time a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt has been accused of sexual misconduct. In 2016, a lecturer was caught on camera having sex with a year 1 student

The incident was widely condemned, with many calling for stricter measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

It is important for institutions of higher learning to take a strong stance against sexual harassment and misconduct. This includes implementing policies and procedures to prevent such incidents from occurring, as well as holding those who engage in such behavior accountable for their actions.

The University of Port Harcourt has yet to release a statement regarding the recent incident. It is unclear at this time what actions the university will take in response to the video. However, it is clear that sexual harassment and misconduct have no place in academia, and must be addressed in a serious and meaningful way.
