Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi took to his X handle today to share his heartfelt condolences following the recent passing of Hajiya Dada Habi Yar’Adua.

Obi joined prominent Nigerians in Katsina State to attend burial prayers for the esteemed matriarch of the Yar’Adua family, who was laid to rest in Angwan Yar’Adua.

In his message, Obi expressed his deep sympathy to the family of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, and the entire Yar’Adua clan. He prayed for the eternal peace of Hajiya Dada Habi Yar’Adua’s soul and asked Allah to grant her the highest place in Aljannah Firdaus. Obi also offered his hopes that the family would find solace and strength in the cherished memories of her remarkable life and enduring legacy.
