The All Progressives Congress has officially released its timetable for the 2027 general elections. Party members can now plan their bids as the sale of nomination forms and primary election dates have been confirmed.
Sale of Nomination Forms
All aspirants are to obtain forms at the APC National Secretariat from Saturday 25th April to Saturday 2nd May 2026.
Primary Election Schedule
- Presidential Primaries: Friday 15th to Saturday 16th May 2026
- House of Representatives Primaries: Monday 18th May 2026
- Senate Primaries: Wednesday 20th May 2026
- State House of Assembly Primaries: Thursday 21st May 2026
- Governorship Primaries: Saturday 23rd May 2026
Cost of Forms
- House of Assembly: ₦6,000,000
- House of Representatives: ₦10,000,000
- Senate: ₦20,000,000
- Governorship: ₦50,000,000
- Presidential: ₦100,000,000
