Von Batten Montague York, L.C. has said that the Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) used artificial intelligence to generate fake voters to rig the 2027 general election, declaring that the United States is watching President Bola Tinubu and giving him all the rope he needs to figuratively hang himself.
In a statement posted on its X handles, the firm said the United States was watching developments in Nigeria and giving Tinubu all the rope he needs to figuratively hang himself.
The statement comes after INEC’s Director of Information and Communication Technology, Dr Lawrence Bayode, admitted on ARISE NEWS that some photographs in the commission’s preliminary voters’ register were generated using artificial intelligence.
Bayode also disclosed that some registration officers across the country had introduced irregularities into the electoral database using their official login credentials.
The revelations have raised fresh concerns about the security of Nigeria’s electoral database and the credibility of the voters’ register ahead of the 2027 general election.
Reacting to the growing scrutiny of the Tinubu administration in Washington, Von Batten Montague York said it was heartened that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu was held in such low regard in Congress and the White House.
The firm also announced that US Representative Barry Moore had introduced H.R. 10939, a proposed bill seeking to ban compensated lobbying on behalf of the Nigerian government for as long as Nigeria remains designated as a Country of Particular Concern.
It welcomed the proposed legislation and cited US Senator Ted Cruz, who accused Nigerian officials of responding to American concerns by launching public relations campaigns against critics instead of addressing the issues raised.
According to the firm, the Tinubu presidency and its agents had also launched a smear campaign against its founder, Dr. Von Batten, following his criticism of the Nigerian government.
The statement further raised allegations involving President Tinubu, including past heroin trafficking allegations, complicity in the killings of innocent Christians and Muslims in Northern Nigeria, widespread corruption and alleged assassination plots against opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The firm also pointed to allegations of election rigging and the controversy surrounding INEC’s preliminary voters’ register, particularly the discovery of AI generated photographs and questionable registration records.
Von Batten Montague York maintained that the United States was watching Nigeria closely and that the Tinubu administration was facing growing scrutiny over democratic accountability, religious freedom, corruption and the integrity of the electoral process.
