President Joe Biden of the United States has announced that the country has successfully intercepted drone and missile attacks aimed at Israel.

He stated that American forces were instrumental in neutralizing almost all of the drones and missiles launched by Iran towards Israel.

In a statement, the US reiterated its unwavering support for Israel and the Group of Seven (G7) – a coalition of affluent nations comprising Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

President Biden condemned the unprecedented aerial assault on Israeli military installations, orchestrated by Iran and its affiliates based in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq. He expressed his gratitude to the US servicemembers, whose exceptional skills enabled them to help Israel neutralize nearly all of the incoming threats.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had vowed in a national address to retaliate against any adversary that seeks to harm Israel. He pledged to do everything within his power to protect the nation, asserting the strength of the Israeli people and their military.
