Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo has accused the government of using the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket to push an agenda he believes threatens Christians, as he raised concerns over repeated attacks on communities in Plateau State.

The Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area made the claim in a video message, calling on President Bola Tinubu to address the fears of Christian communities and improve security in vulnerable areas.

Dachomo questioned whether the Muslim-Muslim ticket was being used to sideline Christians, saying, “Under Muslim-Muslim ticket, they want to finish us?”

The cleric also appealed for more security personnel to be deployed to Barkin Ladi following alleged threats against members of his congregation.

He claimed that suspected armed men had sent a warning letter to one of his church members while his community was still mourning the deaths of nine members of his extended family.

Dachomo urged Christians to remain alert and called on security agencies and the Plateau State Government to take swift action to protect lives and property.

He warned that any further attack on his congregation could lead to protests across the state.

The alleged threat letter has not been made public, and security agencies have not confirmed receiving or investigating the claim.
