The embattled leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been removed as Director of IPOB Worldwide Limited
A check by NewsBand elite investigative team at the official website of Companies House, revealed Nnamdi Kanu has been automatically removed as the Director of IPOB Worldwide Limited.
Recall that NewsBand in a report on the 23 of July 2021 titled, “Document reveals Kanu registered IPOB as Private Limited Company, appointed wife as director”, detailed how Nnamdi Kanu appointed his wife as a Director in IPOB after doing a new round of registration for the organization in the United Kingdom.
IPOB in the document was registered as a Private Limited Company with the following registration number 13127887, while it was incorporated on the 12 of January 2021.
Further analysis of the document revealed that on the 12 of January 2021 IPOB was incorporated as a Private Limited Company, Nnamdi Kanu also appointed his wife, Sofia Kanu as an active director in the company.

Sofia Kanu in the document stated her nationality as South Africa, place of residence as England while her occupation in the document appeared as company director.
Nnamdi Kanu who also registered the company under the name of ‘IPOB WORLDWIDE LIMITED’ stated his occupation as Media Consultant while radio broadcasting as the major business of the company
Meanwhile, Companies House is a government section within the Department for Business, Skills and Innovation. It deals with the regulation and incorporation of limited liability partnerships and limited companies in the United Kingdom.
It stands as the official registrar of companies in the UK. The major duties of Companies House include inspecting and maintaining all information on LLPs and limited companies.
The information displayed on the register of companies House can be accessed online by the general public as well as all businesses.
All electronic data is available for free, which makes it simple for the general public to monitor and inspect the ownership, actions and reliability of every company transacting business in the UK.
However, another round of check by NewsBand at the official Website of Companies House with the same registration number of ‘IPOB WORLDWIDE LIMITED’ sighted in the document of incorporation, produced a different information.

IPOB WORLDWIDE LIMITED appeared as the name of company, with different address and 12 of January 2021 as the day it was incorporated but failed to state the Directors.
In collaborating this report, Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu in a series of Twits has questioned the powers that be in IPOB why their leader was removed as the Director of IPOB Worldwide Limited.
He said, “Who removed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Director of Radio Biafra and what is the motive? Umahi sacked as a governor will not be used to distract us, we are focused like never before. Join us this evening as we continue to dismantle the enemies within.”
He also added, “Who are those who removed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from being the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra world wide? In few minutes time the exposition of those behind the removal of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will begin, we will also address Umahi the former Governor of Ebonyi State. 8pm Biafra.”
