Indications are rife that Senator Hope Uzodinma and his cohorts in Imo State have allegedly concluded plans on how to manipulate the outcome of Saturday’s Imo State House of Assembly election for Ngor Okpala State Constituency and subvert the wish of the people.

According to a reliable source, “Uzodinma has resolved to use intimidation and force to achieve result in Saturday’s Imo House of Assembly bye election in Ngor Okpala. This, Uzodinma and his collaborators plan to achieve by employing the services of hoodlums and security” agencies” who will pose as policemen and DSS operatives, so as to intimidate the electorates through sporadic shootings and bearing of other dangerous arms.

“We are going to teach Hope Uzodinma and his APC a bitter lesson for what they did to our son, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha. They ambushed him and stole a mandate we gave to him. Since that bizarre incident, Imo State has been suffering from starvation, bloodshed and insecurity. We are witnesses to the fact that Ihedioha and PDP were already doing well. Salaries and pensions were being paid. Construction of quality roads were ongoing in Ngor Okpala and across the state. Our stadium and Administrative Complex were nearing completion but Uzodinma came and stopped our progress. We will teach Uzodinma a lesson. APC cannot win a booth in Ngor Okpala”.

Insider’s account also revealed that Uzodimma, who boasted at a gathering of APC meeting at their Secretariat at Okigwe road yesterday, Monday, that he has concluded plans with the Inspector General of Police to hijack the election. Uzodinma has zoomed to Abuja this morning to seek the help of “higher authorities” for the realization of this evil plot this Saturday.

Rt. Hon. Ihedioha is at the fore front of the intensive campaigns in Ngor Okpala where several members of the APC have decamped to PDP. The mammoth crowd that received the campaign train is a proof of the fact that Ihedioha and the PDP are very well loved in the local government.

According to analysts, “It is expected that PDP will win the election by a landslide in Ngor Okpala LGA and we are wondering what APC is going to do to subvert the will of the people. Ihedioha’s presence and that of PDP leaders from the other parts of the state, have added alot of colour to the campaign. We are worried that APC is not campaigning at all and we wonder what they are doing in Owerri.”

Our sources gathered that the people of Ngor Okpala have resolved they will not allow Uzodinma to hold them to ransome.

“We want to call on the IGP, Director of DSS and heads of other security agencies to the the plans by Uzodinma to unleash mayhem on the people of Ngor Okpala simply because he is unpopular and wants to rig the election at all cost to prove that he is on ground. He is not on ground and cannot impose anybody on Ngor Okpala. We rather die than to see that happen.
