The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) re-sit results for candidates affected by disruptions at examination centres in the South-East and Lagos.

The re-sit was organized for candidates whose original exam sessions were disrupted due to incidents of human error at specific centres.

According to a statement released on Sunday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the re-sit involved 336,845 candidates after sessions from compromised centres were excluded and previously unverified candidates were incorporated into the schedule. Out of these, 21,082 candidates were reported absent.

JAMB noted that performance trends remain consistent with historical data, ranging from an 11% pass rate in 2013 to 34% in 2016 — a pattern that continues into the 2025 re-sit results.

Candidates who took part in the re-sit are advised to check their results on the JAMB portal.
