Chairman, Northern Elders Forum, Prof Ango Abdullahi, has lost his eldest son, Isah Ango Abdullahi after a brief illness.
A family source, who confirmed the death to our correspondant in Zaria, said Isah died in Abuja Thursday evening, adding that his corpse would be brought to Zaria today for funeral prayers.
According to the source, the prayers will be held at Haruna Danja Juma’at Mosque at about 1.30pm.
Until his death, Isa was a staff member of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.
He is survived by a wife and children.
