President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, UAE.

He was welcomed at the airport by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, FCT Minister Nyesome Wike, and Governor Hope Uzodinma, among others.

During COP28, President Tinubu highlighted Nigeria’s stance on various issues, participated in signing an agreement with Germany for the Presidential Power Initiative, and hosted meetings on Nigeria’s Carbon Market and Electric Buses Rollout Programme.

The president also engaged in bilateral talks with various countries and multilateral partners during the summit , he met the President of UAE to concretize engagements between the two countries.
